As part of its continued growth, Hotel Tugu Bali is seeking a Business Development / Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through both strategic sales execution and proactive business development. The successful candidate will actively develop new markets, forge strategic partnerships, and create innovative business opportunities while staying true to Hotel Tugu Bali’s heritage values, storytelling philosophy, and distinctive brand identity.
What You Do
- Drive sales and revenue growth across all Hotel Tugu Bali offerings, including rooms, restaurants, events, weddings, cultural programs, and curated experiences.
- Develop and implement sales and business development strategies targeting the Canggu area as well as other strategic markets around the island and the region.
- Identify, initiate, and develop new business opportunities and partnerships with lifestyle brands, creative communities, corporate clients, expatriate networks, wellness providers, and event organizers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel agents, DMCs, event planners, and local business partners.
- Actively promote and cross-sell all facilities, venues, and concepts within Hotel Tugu Bali, maximizing revenue across departments.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, contracts, and agreements, and lead negotiations with clients and partners.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Marketing, F&B, Creative, and Corporate teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and guest experiences.
- Represent Hotel Tugu Bali at networking events, exhibitions, trade shows, and community activities to strengthen brand presence and visibility.
- Ensure all sales and business development activities consistently reflect Hotel Tugu Bali’s heritage, storytelling approach, and luxury service standards.
- Prepare regular sales and business development reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales and/or business development within hospitality, luxury hotels, lifestyle, or tourism-related industries.
- Strong understanding of the Canggu and Bali market, including lifestyle trends, corporate segments, and experiential tourism.
- Proven ability to develop new markets, partnerships, and revenue streams beyond traditional room sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is required.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of professionalism, adaptability, and alignment with luxury hospitality standards.
- Willingness to be mobile and actively engage in field-based business development activities.
