Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager – Modern Trade FMCG (Milk, Food, or Beverages) to drive sales performance and strengthen relationships with key retail partners. This role will report directly to the GM FMCG and lead a team of Area Account Supervisors to achieve business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales strategy & achievement : Develop & implement strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Key Account Management : Maintain & build strong, long term relationships with major retail partners
- Negotiation & contracting : negotiate trade terms, listing cost, promotions, and volume agreements with buyers
- In-store excellence : ensure maximum product visibility, availability, and optimal shelf space, including the implementation of POP materials
- Sales forecasting & analysis : Monitor sales data, analyze market trends, and provide accurate sales forecast
- Team Leadership : Lead, coach, and manage a team to achieve performance goal
- Promotion Planning : Make plan & execute in store promotional activities & monitor their effectiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field (Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Sales Manager / Key Account Manager in FMCG (Food & Beverages)
- Strong experience handling Modern Trade channels, especially Modern Trade Independent (MTI)
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of distribution networks in modern trade
- Willing to conduct frequent field visits (high mobility required)
