About the role
- Lead and manage a sales team in the building materials industry, responsible for developing market strategies, expanding distributor and customer networks, and driving sales performance to meet company targets.
- Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the Sales team
- Develop sales strategies to achieve company targets
- Identify new markets and expand networks with distributors, agents, and strategic customers
- Build business relationships with distributors, contractors, developers, and key accounts
- Coordinate with management and principals using Mandarin Chinese
- Conduct business negotiations including pricing, partnerships, and sales contracts
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities
- Establish sales targets, forecasting, and regular performance reports
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance, and Marketing teams
- Ensure achievement of team KPIs, sales growth, and customer receivables management
About you
- Minimum Bachelor's degree from any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with building materials industry experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years as Sales Supervisor, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, or equivalent leadership position
- Active communication skills in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)
- Mandarin language skills preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
- Target-oriented with ability to develop sales strategies
- Experience managing and developing a Sales team
- Network with distributors, building material stores, contractors, or developers preferred
- Valid personal vehicle and active driving license; willing to travel for business
