Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in generating revenue for a hotel by acquiring and maintaining relationships with corporate, group, and individual clients. The primary responsibility is to identify and pursue sales opportunities, negotiate contracts, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients within the corporate, group, and individual market segments.
- Client Relationship Management.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase the hotel's unique selling points and offerings.
- Negotiation contracts and pricing terms with clients to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Track sales performance, analyze market trends, and forecast future sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and post-booking.
- Event Planning and Coordination
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless customer service and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in using VHP systems.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the hotel industry, sales techniques, and market trends.
- Certifications: Hospitality sales certifications (e.g., Certified Hotel Sales Executive (CHSE)) are preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong understanding of social media marketing and digital sales channels.
