Job Description: Sales Engineer (Chemical & Lubricants)

Location: Daan Mogot, West Jakarta

Department: Sales & Marketing

Industry: Industrial Chemicals / Lubricants / B2B Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, providing technical consultations, and maintaining strong relationships with B2B clients, specifically in the manufacturing and industrial sectors. Your goal is to provide chemical and lubricant solutions that improve our customers' operational efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in B2B Sales, preferably within the chemical, lubricant, or industrial machinery sector.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development: Actively identify and prospect potential B2B clients (factories, power plants, mining, or automotive industries) within the assigned territory.
  2. Technical Consultation: Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to explain the benefits and applications of our chemical and lubricant products to engineers and procurement managers.
  3. Client Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new customers through regular site visits and follow-ups.
  4. Solution Selling: Analyze customer needs and machinery requirements to recommend the most suitable product grades (customized chemical/lubricant solutions).
  5. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new growth areas.
  6. Sales Administration: Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of products in coordination with the logistics team.
  7. After-Sales Support: Provide basic technical troubleshooting and ensure customer satisfaction after the sale.

Skills:

  1. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  2. Ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  3. Proficient in English (Spoken & Written).
  4. Mobility: Must possess a valid Class A driving license (SIM A) and be comfortable traveling to various industrial sites/factories.
