Qualifications & Requirements:
- A Diploma or Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience in selling technical products will also be considered.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, particularly with technical or industrial products.
- General understanding of oilfield drilling tools and rig equipment.
- Strong persuasive skills to influence clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills, including the ability to evaluate the relative costs and benefits of various options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong commercial awareness and technical aptitude.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, promote the sale of company products, and provide ongoing sales support.
- Engage with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
- Develop, present, and respond to proposals tailored to specific customer needs, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and customized industry solutions.
- Diagnose issues with installed equipment and provide effective solutions.
- Plan and adjust product configurations to meet unique client specifications.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations to communicate product or service value to current and prospective clients.
- Provide both technical and non-technical support to clients and internal teams on the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
- Recommend improvements in materials or machinery, highlighting cost savings or increased production efficiency.
- Manage order acquisition, renewals, and coordinate delivery logistics.
- Sell products that require deep technical expertise and support, including material handling systems, CNC machinery, and specialized equipment.
