About the role

Sell pipes, valves, and fittings to industrial customers, contractors, and end users. Understand each customer's needs, application, operating conditions, and requirements, then recommend the most suitable products that match their specifications (material, size, pressure rating, type, and standard).

Key responsibilities

• Explain product features, specifications, and differences between options clearly and confidently to customers
• Identify and develop new customers (new business) while maintaining relationships with existing clients
• Conduct regular customer visits and product presentations
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance on stock availability, delivery, and billing
• Keep up to date on product knowledge, market trends, pricing, and competitor activity
• Prepare regular sales activity and target achievement reports

About you

• Minimum High School/Vocational (SMA/SMK), Diploma (D3), or Degree (S1), preferably in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, etc.); other majors will also be considered
• minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Mechanical Sales representative or in a related field
• Strong technical knowledge of pipes, valves, and fittings (materials, specifications, standards, and applications)
• Able to read customer needs and recommend the right product, not just take orders
• Domiciled in Gresik (local candidates preferred)
• Holds a valid car (SIM A) and/or motorcycle (SIM C) driver's license
• Outgoing, energetic, and talkative with excellent communication skills
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, and committed to achieving targets
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
