About Alayang
Alayang transforms traditional Balinese bamboo kites into contemporary artworks, handmade in Bali by local artisans. We work with interior designers, architects, hotels, restaurants, developers, galleries and private clients.
We are growing and looking for an energetic, outgoing and creative person to help build the brand.
The Role: You will help grow Alayang through sales, relationships, partnerships and marketing.
Your main responsibilities:
Find and approach potential clients and business partners.
Build relationships with interior designers, architects, hotels, restaurants and retailers.
Present our collection and the story behind the artworks.
Follow up leads and turn opportunities into sales.
Help manage Instagram, create content and tell the story of our artisans.
Support collaborations, exhibitions, pop-ups and events.
You will have support from our internal admin team, allowing you to focus on clients, sales and growth rather than paperwork.
Who We're Looking For
Indonesian, preferably female.
Fluent or near-fluent English.
Confident, friendly and great with people.
Interested in art, design, interiors and Balinese culture.
Commercially minded, proactive and motivated to develop new business.
Creative and comfortable with social media.
Able to work independently, meet clients and travel around Bali.
Experience in sales, hospitality, retail, interior design, art or marketing is an advantage. Personality, initiative and enthusiasm matter just as much as experience.
