With over 16 years experience in the Balinese logistics sector, Founding Director Gusti Kadek Lindawati recognised a gap between expectations of local and international clients and the service offerings delivered by current providers.
To address this need, and with the backing of two well-established international logistics firms, Linda established Jalak Kargo Logistic (JKL), and with their support JKL aims to be the modern face of International Logistics in Indonesia, incorporating the latest in logistics software and processes while employing eco-friendly logistics solutions wherever possible to suit individual client’s needs.
Jalak Kargo Logistik philosophy is derived from various elements of natural history and Balinese culture, which can be seen in the origins of our company name.
The Jalak Bali is an iconic and native bird from Bali; a beautiful but endangered species from this island paradise. We do not just take the name of this majestic bird, but in return we engage in the preservation of its natural habitat (and that of other flora and fauna on the Island) whenever possible by contributing to the work of local NGO’s.
