Risk Management Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a Risk Management Officer to support the development, implementation, and continuous monitoring of the Company's Risk Management Framework as a Pedagang Aset Keuangan Digital (PAKD) regulated and supervised by the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia (OJK).

This role will work independently and cross-functionally to ensure key business risks are properly identified, assessed, monitored, controlled, and escalated to Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the Company's Risk Management Framework, Risk Appetite, Risk Limits, Risk Register, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Conduct Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and provide recommendations for material risk mitigation.
• Monitor market, liquidity, operational, technology/cybersecurity, fraud, counterparty, regulatory, and emerging risks.
• Perform scenario analysis, stress testing, and risk exposure analysis.
• Conduct risk assessments for new products, business processes, systems, partnerships, and new business initiatives.
• Manage risk incidents, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and remediation monitoring.
• Prepare Risk Management Dashboards and Management/Risk Committee Reports.
• Provide independent risk challenge on business activities and decisions that may create material risks.
• Support compliance with OJK and PAKD regulatory requirements, including risk assessments, regulatory reporting, audits, examinations, and remediation.
• Collaborate with Compliance, AML, Legal, Finance, Treasury, Operations, Technology, Cybersecurity, Product, and Internal Audit teams.
• Identify emerging risks and provide early warnings and recommendations to Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Risk Management, Banking, Securities, Fintech, Payments, Financial Services, or Digital Assets.
• Solid experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Technology Risk, or Regulatory Risk.
• Strong understanding of RCSA, Risk Appetite, Risk Limits, KRIs, Risk Registers, Risk Assessments, Stress Testing, and Internal Controls.
• Understanding of Digital Asset/Crypto Exchange risk is a strong advantage.
• Good understanding of OJK regulations, PAKD/Digital Assets, AML/CFT, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical risk controls, policies, procedures, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to prepare Risk Management Reports for Senior Management and Risk Committees.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets; experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or risk analytics tools is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and independent judgment skills.
• High integrity, analytical mindset, attention to detail, proactive approach, and the confidence to provide constructive challenge to the business.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven, and highly regulated environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, CRMP, CERM, CIA, CISA, or relevant Risk/AML certifications are an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in Banking, Securities, Fintech, Payment Services, Crypto Exchanges, or other regulated financial institutions, particularly those with exposure to risk governance, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, regulatory reporting, audit, or regulatory examinations, are highly preferred.
