Job Description
- Deliver quality servive to our shoppers, resulting in repeat visits and brand loyalty
- Work well with coworkers to achieve store sales goals through suggestive selling and special promotions, and consistent follow up
- Well versed so as to inform patrons about product features and benefits, offers opinions and recommendations as appropriate yet not pushy
- Maintain neatness in shop environment, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, take pride in customer service, ability to treat customers with respect and courtesy
- Ringing up sales and arranging for delivery or pick-up of the customer's order if needed
- Assist to follow up on administrative database, keeping customer updated on progress even after purchase to build long-term relationship
- Assisting in maintaining the stock room and setting up displays on the shop floor
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter the store, answer customer questions, provide recommendations and assist with requests
- Build rapport through conversation, but able to maintain non-pushy, give customer space to consider options
- Execute purchases and returns at the shop registry, ensure 100% accuracy in payment
- Restock and organize merchandise on the shop floor
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
Expectations
- Excellent verbal communication skills, outgoing and energetic personality
- Basic math skills, including the ability to give accurate change
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualification
- Prior retail sales or customer service experience
- Familiarity with point-of-sales (POS) systems
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Fresh Grad may apply
