Retail Operation Intern
We are seeking a proactive and creative Retail Operations Intern to support the day-to-day operations of a bicycle retail store, ensuring smooth sales processes, excellent customer service, proper inventory control, and optimal store performance.
Responsibility
- Supervises daily activities, including opening/closing the store, handling cash, and processing transactions.
- Trains, mentors, schedules, and evaluates the retail store team's performance.
- Monitors stock levels, orders new merchandise, and ensures products are properly displayed to meet visual standards.
- Resolves customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly to enhance the shopping experience.
- Analyzes sales figures, prepares reports, and implements strategies to meet sales goals.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate/currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management, industrial engineering, and other related fields.
- Good leadership and able to motivate teams and delegate tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with customers and the team.
- Attention to detail to manage inventory and interpret data.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Passionate and/or has practical experience in a retail business is more preferable.
- Has commitment and motivation for a 6-month internship period.
- Available for placement in Greater Jakarta, Solo, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Makassar, and other cities in Indonesia.
