Job Description:
- Analyze past sales data to forecast future product demand and plan inventory needs.
- Set retail price points and determine timing for markdowns on slow-moving stock.
- Research market trends and monitor competitor offerings to inform buying decisions.
- Read and interpret inventory reports, margins, and sell-through rates to guide decisions.
- Negotiate payment terms, discounts, and supplier agreements.
- Understand target customer preferences to curate assortments that drive sales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail buying, merchandising, or category management
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/data tools
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience
- Good understanding of retail/customer trends and commercial awareness
- Able to work cross-functionally with planning, marketing, and supply chain teams
- Placement : Head Office (Karet Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan)
