About Client:
TONE All Day Lounge is a new food and beverage venue in Canggu, Bali, currently in pre-opening. Built around an all-day lounge concept, it brings together a food and beverage offering, a relaxed atmosphere, and attentive service for guests from morning into the evening. We are now assembling the leadership team that will open the venue and set its standards from day one. Join us and help shape TONE All Day Lounge from the ground up.
What You Will Contribute:
As the Restaurant Manager of TONE All Day Lounge, you will lead the front-of-house and day-to-day restaurant operation through the pre-opening phase and into opening. Working closely with the Director and the Cakap Group project team, you will help set up operating standards, build and train the team, and make sure the venue opens with a consistent, welcoming guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership of how the venue runs.
What You Will Do:
- Pre-Opening & Operations Setup
- Support pre-opening preparation, including operational readiness, equipment and supplies, floor plan, and service flow.
- Implement SOPs, service standards, and daily operating routines for all shifts, from opening to closing.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and support teams to make sure every department is ready for opening.
- Team Recruitment & Leadership
- Take part in recruiting, onboarding, and training the restaurant and service team, and prepare them for opening.
- Build the shift schedules and run regular briefings, training sessions, and performance coaching for supervisors and staff.
- Build a positive, disciplined, and collaborative team culture across all shifts.
- Guest Experience & Standards
- Make sure guests receive consistent, warm, and professional service in every shift.
- Handle guest complaints and escalations personally, and manage the venue’s ratings and reviews on Google and other platforms.
- Support menu launches, events, and promotions.
- Sales, Revenue & Cost Control
- Monitor daily sales, food and beverage cost, labor cost, and petty cash.
- Approve purchase requests and make sure procurement follows company procedures.
- Analyze weekly and monthly reports and take corrective action on any variance.
Who We’re Looking For:
Must-Have
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or lounge management, as Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or a similar role in a restaurant, hotel, resort, beach club, or lifestyle venue.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a multi-department team, including service, bar, and support staff.
- Solid grasp of sales, P&L, food and beverage cost control, and purchasing procedures.
- Confident handling guest complaints and service recovery, with a hospitality-first mindset.
- Organized and hands-on, comfortable setting up systems and standards in a new venue.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, and based in or willing to relocate near Canggu, Bali.
Nice to Have (Will Set You Apart)
- Experience in a pre-opening or new venue launch.
- Experience in a lifestyle venue, such as an all-day lounge, bar and restaurant, or beach club.
- Knowledge of beverage service and bar operations.
- Ambition to grow into a broader leadership role as the venue develops.
