Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and detail-oriented Residential Housekeeping Staff to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall comfort of a private residence. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, well-groomed, physically fit, and able to communicate fluently in English while providing high standards of housekeeping service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the residence, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, and other common spaces.
- Perform daily housekeeping duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Wash, dry, iron, fold, and organize laundry and household linens.
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to the household's preferences. Experience in Chinese cuisine is highly preferred.
- Keep the kitchen clean and ensure all cooking utensils and equipment are properly maintained.
- Collect, sort, and dispose of household waste in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies, cleaning materials, and other household essentials as needed.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining the home for family gatherings, guests, or special occasions.
- Report maintenance issues or damaged household items to the employer promptly.
- Follow household procedures and maintain strict confidentiality and respect for the family's privacy.
Qualifications
- Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory).
- Previous experience in residential housekeeping, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience preparing Chinese cuisine is highly preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties efficiently.
- Honest, reliable, punctual, and responsible with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently while following instructions carefully.
- Well-groomed, professional in appearance, and committed to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule when required.
- Willing to live on-site (live-in) and reside at the employer's residence.
