About Us
YKExplore is an inbound tour operator specializing in authentic travel experiences across Indonesia. We serve international travelers through our website and leading global platforms such as GetYourGuide, Viator, Klook, Trip.com, Airbnb Experiences, and other online travel marketplaces. We are looking for a customer-oriented and highly organized Reservation Staff to manage guest inquiries, process tour bookings, and ensure seamless communication across all sales channels.
Responsibilities
- Respond to guest inquiries and booking requests promptly and professionally via email, messaging platforms, and OTA channels.
- Process, confirm, and update tour reservations, ensuring accurate data entry into our internal system.
- Coordinate daily trip itineraries and special guest requirements with our Operations, Tour Guides, and Transport teams.
- Manage schedule changes, booking modifications, cancellations, and refund requests according to company policies.Monitor booking availability, allotment, and pricing across our direct website and OTA platforms.
- Prepare daily and weekly reservation summary reports for management.
- Handle guest feedback or booking issues efficiently to ensure a smooth pre-trip and post-trip experience.
Requirements
- Educational background in Tourism, Hospitality, Communications, Foreign Languages, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Reservation, Front Office, Customer Service, or Tour Operations within the travel and hospitality industry.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (to interact with international travelers).
- Familiarity with OTA platforms (GetYourGuide, Viator, Klook, Airbnb Experiences, etc.) and reservation booking systems (e.g., Bokun) is a strong plus.
- Excellent customer service mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, email management, and messaging software.
- High adaptability to flexible working shifts, including weekends or holidays during peak travel seasons.
- Deep knowledge of Indonesian tourist destinations, especially Yogyakarta and Java, is preferred.
