The Refractionist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, assisting in the diagnosis of vision problems, and providing guidance on appropriate corrective measures such as glasses or contact lenses. This role involves interacting with patients to understand their visual needs, using specialized equipment to measure vision acuity, and maintaining accurate records of patient data. The Refractionist will also collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive proper care and follow-up. Additionally, the position requires strong communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide support to both patients and medical staff.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in a relevant field and have between 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. Strong customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to perform medical translation when necessary. Experience in healthcare, nursing, and midwifery is preferred, along with excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
