React Native/Flutter Mobile Developer (Part-Time)

The Digital Cellar is a dynamic and innovative company committed to delivering exceptional digital solutions. We are looking for a skilled Part-Time Mobile Developer proficient in React Native and Flutter to help us convert our current website (built with Next.js and Laravel) into high-quality mobile apps. The role also involves publishing apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand the existing website functionality and architecture (built on Next.js and Laravel).
• Develop high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms using React Native or Flutter.
• Ensure seamless integration of features to mirror website functionality.
• Optimize app performance for a smooth user experience on both platforms.
• Implement in-app purchase functionality and ensure compliance with Play Store and App Store guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any app issues to maintain high reliability.
• Develop and integrate casting features to allow streaming to TV devices (e.g., Chromecast, AirPlay).
• Follow industry best practices in coding, security, and maintainability.
• Coordinate with designers to maintain UI/UX consistency across platforms.
• Handle app submission processes for the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, ensuring all requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Proven Experience: Must have experience in publishing free and/or paid apps on both Android and iOS platforms and present the names of at least 2 published apps.
• React Native and Flutter Expertise: Proficiency in either React Native and Flutter frameworks with a strong command of JavaScript or Dart, respectively.
• In-App Purchases: Strong familiarity with in-app purchase implementation, including requirements, setup, testing, and publishment.
• Device Casting: Experience with developing casting features on mobile apps (e.g., Chromecast, AirPlay) is a plus.
• Development Tools: Must have all necessary tools for development and testing: Android smartphone, Mac and iPhone devices (for iOS development and testing).
• API Integration: Experience with integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• State Management: Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX for React Native, or Provider, Riverpod for Flutter).
• Performance Optimization: Knowledge of mobile development best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Version Control: Proficiency in using Git for version control.
• Submission Expertise: Proven experience with app submission and management on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Preferred Skills:

• Native development experience (Java/Kotlin for Android, Swift/Objective-C for iOS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment.
• Experience with Flutter libraries, widgets, and tools like BLoC, GetX, or Firebase integration.
• Comprehensive understanding of Play Store and App Store compliance, including metadata, assets, and policies.
• Knowledge of mobile app design principles and guidelines for both Android and iOS platforms.

Work Hours: Part-time schedule, up to 20 hours per week.
