Deskripsi pekerjaan R&D Nutrition & Formulation Specialist PT Muara Juara Kreasi Indonesia
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize food & beverage formulations based on product concepts, nutritional targets, sensory profile and cost targets
- Conduct laboratory trials, product trial-and-error and formulation adjustments to achieve the desired taste, appearance, stability and product performance
- Support pilot-scale and production trials, including troubleshooting and formulation/process adjustments before the product moves into mass production
- Coordinating with Regulatory to ensure formulations comply with BPOM requirements, permitted ingredients, usage limits and applicable product claims
- Conduct & Support hedonic testing for preferred prototype, collect testing reports, and evaluate testing result
- Prepare and maintain R&D documentation, including formulation sheets, trial reports, specifications and development records
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology / Food Science
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Food & Beverage, R&D/Formulation, preferably with experience in RTD or functional beverages production process
- Have knowledge in hot-fill, pasteurization/UHT, pilot-scale trials, and production scale-up is highly preferred
- Good understanding of nutrition, vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, fiber, botanical and functional ingredients
- Knowledge of BPOM regulations, food additives, ingredients and product claims
- Able to perform formulation calculations, nutritional calculations and product costing
- Hands-on laboratory skills, sensory evaluation and stability testing
- Good analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills
- Able to work independently and communicate with suppliers and other departments
