Deskripsi pekerjaan R&D FORMULATION CHEMIST Mosquito Solution Bali
Mosquito Solution Bali is looking for a hands-on R&D Formulation Chemist to develop, test and improve formulations for mosquito-control applications.
We need someone who can take a formulation from an initial concept through laboratory trials, stability testing and reproducible production.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise formulations for mosquito-control products, including attractants, repellents and other relevant applications.
- Select and evaluate active ingredients, solvents, surfactants, carriers and other formulation components.
- Investigate solubility, compatibility, stability, controlled release and packaging compatibility.
- Design experiments with clear controls, maintain accurate records and interpret results.
- Work with our field team to connect formulation performance with properly designed mosquito trials.
- Troubleshoot existing formulations and improve consistency, shelf life and cost.
- Prepare formulation specifications, batch instructions, testing procedures and technical documentation.
- Support production scale-up, safe chemical handling and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated practical experience in formulation R&D and product development.
- Ability to explain formulations personally developed, the problems encountered and how they were resolved.
- Experience designing experiments, conducting stability studies and documenting reproducible results.
- Working English and Bahasa Indonesia for technical communication.
- Availability to work in Bali.
Preferred experience:
- Insecticides, mosquito repellents, attractants, household chemicals or agrochemicals.
- Relevant formulation experience in cosmetics, personal care or pharmaceuticals will also be considered.
- Emulsions, dispersions, gels, encapsulation or controlled-release systems.
- Experience transferring laboratory formulations into production.
