Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (preferred), Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimation, or Cost Control, preferably in interior/office fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of RAB (Budget Plan) and RAP (Project Cost Plan) preparation.
- Able to perform quantity take-off, BOQ, cost estimation, and material costing.
- Able to read and understand architectural/interior drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiar with subcontractor/supplier quotation evaluation and project cost comparison.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work accurately with numbers.
Job Description
- Prepare and calculate RAB and RAP based on project drawings, specifications, and requirements.
- Perform quantity take-off and BOQ preparation for interior and office fit-out works.
- Calculate material, labor, subcontractor, and other project costs.
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate quantity and cost calculations.
- Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Monitor and update project costs and budget throughout the project.
- Prepare cost calculations for Variation Orders (VO) and additional works.
- Conduct site measurements and quantity verification when required.
- Coordinate with Project, Design, Procurement, and Site teams regarding quantities, materials, and project costs.
