QC Trainee (Quality Control Trainee)
Location: Gresik, East Java, Indonesia
About the Position
PT Indo Copper Refining is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Quality Control (QC) team. Successful candidates will undergo a 2-month training program at our parent company's manufacturing facility in Vietnam before returning to work permanently at our factory in Gresik.
The company will provide comprehensive training in copper recycling processes, quality control procedures, and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Participate in a 2-month training program in Vietnam.
2. Learn and implement quality control procedures and standards.
3. Inspect and evaluate incoming copper scrap materials.
4. Conduct quality inspections on production processes and finished products.
5. Assist in laboratory testing and analysis activities.
6. Prepare and maintain quality records and reports.
7. Monitor product quality and report any non-conformities.
8. Work closely with Production and Operations teams to ensure quality standards are achieved.
9. Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
3. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
4. Honest, disciplined, responsible, and hardworking.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
7. Willing to learn copper recycling and quality control processes.
8. Willing to travel to Vietnam for a 2-month training program.
9. Willing to work permanently in Gresik, East Java.
10. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Knowledge of laboratory testing, quality control, or manufacturing processes.
2. Familiarity with metal, chemical, or material analysis is an advantage.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
4. Employment Commitment
Due to the company's investment in overseas training, successful candidates must be willing to commit to working with the company for a minimum of two (2) years after completing the training program.
