Job Overview
A Quality Control (QC) Lead oversees the inspection team, ensuring products meet safety and company standards, coordinates IPC, and manages production quality from raw materials to finished goods. Key duties involve monitoring, testing, analyzing production, documenting inspections, and developing team skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervising, mentoring, and scheduling QC staff or inspectors.
- Product Inspection & Quality: Monitoring and testing production processes to verify that products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Reporting & Documentation: Creating and managing detailed documentation for inspections, tests, and QC reports.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying, analyzing, and recommending solutions for low-quality products or process defects.
- Standards Development: Establishing and applying quality control systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Developing initiatives to improve quality control and efficiency in production
Job Requirements
- Education: Typically minimum D3/S1 degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 8-10 years experience as a QC lead, supervisor, or senior inspector.
- Skill Sets: Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Workspace, strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), QC tools, and industry-specific standards.
