The Role
As Quality Control Inspector, you will responsible for ensuring that materials, production processes, and final products meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This position performs inspections, tests, records inspection results, and reports non-conformities to maintain product quality.
Key Responsibilities
1.Conduct inspections of incoming materials, production processes (in-process), and finished products (final inspection)
2.Ensure products comply with quality standards, technical specifications, and working drawings
3.Using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools correctly
4.Idenify, record, and report non-conforming products (NG/Reject)
5.Make inspection results reports accurately and on time
6.Coordinate with production, engineering, warehouse, and PPIC departments regarding quality findings.
7.Ensure that products that pass inspection are given the status according to procedures.
8.Assist in investigating the root causes of quality problems and provide input for corrective actions.
9.Ensure all inspection activities follow SOP, quality standards, and customer requirements.
10.Maintain cleanliness of the work area and maintain measuring instruments according to procedures.
Qualifications
1.Minimum education of High School, Diploma or equivalents
2.Minimum 1-2 year of experience as a QC Inspector in manufactur or factory
3.Understand the basic of Quality Control and inspection techniques especially jewelry
4.Able to read technical drawings
5.Understand the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicatord, and heigh gauges
6.Thorough, disciplined, honest, and have good analytical skills
7.Able to work individually or in a team
8.Able to create inspection reports using Microsoft Excel or an ERP system if necessary.
