Assistant Quality Control – Tour Guide
Job Summary :
The Assistant Quality Control – Tour Guide is responsible for supporting the Quality Control and Operations process to ensure that tour arrangements, itineraries, vouchers, and tour guide coordination are accurate and properly prepared before and during the client's trip. Candidates with previous experience in Travel Operations, Reservations, or Tour Coordination are considered suitable for this position. Direct Quality Control experience is not mandatory, provided that the candidate has a strong understanding of travel operations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Coordinate and arrange tour guides according to the Company's operational requirements and assigned tour schedules.
2. Prepare, check, update, and print tour itineraries, vouchers, and other operational documents required by tour guides.
3. Review tour arrangements carefully, including hotel, restaurant, transportation, tour packages, schedules, and other travel services to ensure that all information is accurate and consistent.
4. Monitor ongoing tours and coordinate with tour guides, hotels, transportation providers, and other local partners to ensure smooth operations.
5. Handle and follow up on operational issues, complaints, and problems that may arise during the tour and escalate matters to the relevant team or Management when necessary.
6. Ensure that any changes to itineraries, bookings, or operational arrangements are properly communicated to the relevant parties and accurately reflected in the Company's records.
7. Maintain accurate operational records and documentation related to tour arrangements, tour guides, vouchers, and client services.
8. Support the Operations and Quality Control team in monitoring the overall quality and accuracy of travel services provided to clients.
9. Perform administrative and operational tasks related to tour coordination and Quality Control as assigned by Management.
Qualifications & Requirements :
1. Minimum 1 year of experience in Travel Operations, Reservations, Customer Service, or Tour Coordination, preferably within a travel agent serving the China or Taiwan market. Candidates with strong operational experience are encouraged to apply; direct Quality Control experience is not mandatory.
2. Strong understanding of travel operations, including hotel reservations, restaurant arrangements, transportation, tour packages, itineraries, vouchers, and other travel-related services.
3. Excellent attention to detail is a must. The candidate must be highly careful and accurate when checking itineraries, schedules, bookings, vouchers, guest information, and operational arrangements.
4. Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English. Experience working with Mandarin-speaking clients, tour guides, or partners is an advantage. The candidate must also be comfortable using WeChat for work-related communication.
5. Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment, handle multiple tasks, respond to problems promptly, and demonstrate strong responsibility, discipline, organization, and teamwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is required.
