Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance to join our team and ensure the quality and functionality of our products. In this role, you will be responsible for performing manual and automated tests, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality before being released. Your contribution will help us deliver seamless, user-friendly, and error-free applications to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software functionality and performance meet requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Work closely with the development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure tests are aligned with user stories and functional specifications.
- Perform regression testing to verify that new code changes do not affect existing functionality.
- Conduct compatibility testing across multiple platforms and devices.
- Participate in the creation of test plans and test strategies for new features and product releases.
- Provide feedback on product usability and quality, suggesting improvements when necessary.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues when required.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, suggesting improvements for better efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual and automated).
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Solid understanding of web and mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
- Good understanding of database testing (SQL queries, NoSQL, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and communicate effectively with developers and product managers.
- Experience with version control tools like Git is a plus.
- Proactive and self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
