Software Test Engineer (Two-Wheeler EV, Indonesia Localization)
Job Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Execution
Responsible for end-to-end testing of software products related to two-wheeler electric vehicles, including C-end user App, B-end operation management system, battery swap cabinet control software, and battery monitoring platform.
Responsibilities cover requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and regression testing, with a focus on Indonesia localized scenarios.
2. Core Module Testing
• C-end App: User registration / login (supporting Indonesian phone numbers and social account login), payment channel testing (GoPay, OVO, DANA), device status verification, user billing testing, and iOS / Android multi-version compatibility testing.
• B-end System: Web frontend testing, verifying whether functions meet operational requirements.
3. Specialized Testing
Perform performance testing (e.g., high-concurrent orders during Indonesian peak hours, batch online monitoring of nationwide battery swap cabinets), compatibility testing (mainstream Indonesian mobile models, OS versions, local network environments), and security testing (user face recognition authentication, etc.).
4. Defect Management
Accurately locate and record defects, clearly communicate with cross-functional teams (development, product, hardware, local Indonesian operations) in English and Indonesian, track fix progress, drive issue closure, and deliver multilingual test reports.
5. Test Optimization
Participate in test process optimization, promote the implementation of automation testing (including App UI automation and API automation) to improve testing efficiency; build and accumulate testing assets such as Indonesia market-adapted test cases and test scripts.
Job Requirements
1. Basic Requirements
• 1–3 years of software testing experience; experience in IoT, hardware interaction, mobility App / B-end system testing is preferred.
• Language skills: fluent written and spoken English (working language), able to directly coordinate with local operations / user feedback and communicate with China technical team.
• Familiar with software testing processes and methodologies (black-box, gray-box testing); able to independently complete requirement analysis, test case design and execution. Knowledge of local Indonesian software compliance regulations is a plus.
• Solid defect localization skills, able to clearly describe defect phenomena and reproduction steps, drive cross-departmental problem-solving, and adapt to cross-border collaboration.
2. Core Technical Skills
• Proficient in iOS / Android App testing and Web system testing; understand communication principles of IoT devices (battery swap cabinets, smart batteries, electric motorcycles, etc.); skilled in API testing tools including Postman, JMeter, Charles.
• Strong cross-cultural communication and logical thinking abilities; able to quickly adapt to Indonesia business iteration pace with strong sense of responsibility.
3. Preferred Qualifications
• Testing experience in two-wheeler EVs, battery swap cabinets, smart hardware, or energy management systems; familiarity with testing logic of Indonesian local payment channels (GoPay, OVO, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Appium, Selenium) or performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Basic database operation skills (MySQL), able to verify test data via SQL queries.
*Working hours: Monday - Saturday. Saturday half day
