Role Overview
As a Junior QA Engineer for Uninote, you will ensure that our communication platform remains reliable for our users. You will work closely with the engineering team to test new features, identify bugs, and begin your journey into automation testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Perform manual functional, regression, and smoke testing for Comdesk’s web and telephony features.
- Bug Reporting: Document clear, reproducible bug reports and track them through the lifecycle using Jira or similar tools.
- Automation Learning: Assist in writing and maintaining basic automation scripts using Playwright.
- PBX Testing: Learn to validate call flows, audio quality, and basic PBX configurations.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning to understand requirements.
Requirements
- Experience: 0–2 years in software testing or a related technical role.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Web Technologies (HTML/CSS/JS) and API testing (Postman).
- Mindset: Strong attention to detail and a curious, "detective" approach to finding bugs.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical issues clearly to developers.
