Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform API testing, including validation of request/response and error handling.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
- Ensure test environments and test data are prepared for reliable execution.
- Provide input on test strategies and risk assessments for new features.
- Support release readiness by ensuring adequate coverage of functional testing.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a QA Engineer / Software Tester.
- Hands-on experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge in manual testing, bug lifecycle, and test case management.
- Experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger, or similar).
- Ability to set up test environments and test data independently.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Nice to Have (Bonus)
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
- Exposure to non-functional testing (performance, security).
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL queries.
- Basic scripting knowledge in one language (JavaScript, Python, or similar).
