PLACEMENT : Project Site – Africa
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct on-site patrol inspection, witness inspection and measurement for equipment installation, piping laying, wiring and commissioning.
- Inspect installation dimension, elevation, connection quality, grounding and insulation; fill in inspection records truthfully.
- Stop construction immediately when quality defects are found, issue rectification notices and verify rectification results.
- Participate in acceptance of concealed works and partial works; complete inspection batch records.
- Cooperate with QA and Document Controller to prepare site acceptance documents.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of on-site QC experience in M&E works.
- Certifications: Quality inspector certification or equivalent preferred.
- Skills: Attention to detail; ability to read installation drawings and specifications.
- Language: Proficiency in English.
