QA Tester / QA Analyst (Manual) – Project-Based

Job Description

1. Review requirements and designs to ensure they are clear, testable, and aligned with the expected functionality.
2. Create test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business and system requirements.
3. Perform comprehensive manual testing covering functional, integration, regression, negative, and end-to-end scenarios.
4. Validate application flow, functionality, and data stored in the database.
5. Ensure that developed features are stable and meet the defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
6. Document defects clearly and communicate them to the relevant person in charge.
7. Monitor the bug-fixing process and perform retesting until issues are properly resolved.
8. Prepare testing evidence, UAT documentation, and test reports.
9. Coordinate with developers, system analysts, project teams, stakeholders, and freelance QA Testers.
10. Work closely with the client’s project team to support deliverables within an intensive project timeline.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience as a QA Tester or QA Analyst.
3. Strong understanding of software testing concepts and the web/application development lifecycle.
4. Experienced in creating test scenarios, test cases, UAT test plans, and testing reports.
5. Familiar with functional, regression, integration, negative, and end-to-end testing.
6. Able to perform database validation using SQL.
7. Familiar with API testing using Postman or similar tools is preferred.
8. Knowledge of automation testing is a plus.
9. Able to document and communicate defects clearly.
10. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
11. Able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
12. Available to join immediately and willing to work on a client project.
