QA QC FURNITURE MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented and experienced QA QC Furniture Manager to join our dynamic team at PT Majati Furniture in Semarang, Central Java. As the QA QC Furniture Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality and consistency of our furniture products, aligning with our commitment to excellence. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing manufacturing business.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Develop, implement, and maintain QA-QC systems in line with US/EU standards.
2. Lead Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection processes to ensure product quality.
3. Ensure all furniture products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
4. Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis.
5. Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
7. Provide training to the QA/QC team on inspection procedures, quality standards, and quality management systems.
8. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
9. Prepare regular quality reports and recommend corrective actions to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
10. Identify potential quality risks and implement preventive measures to minimize product defects.
11. Evaluate inspection results and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
12. Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable US/EU furniture regulations.
    

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in QA-QC within furniture manufacturing, preferably for export.
3. Strong knowledge of US/EU furniture standards and customer quality requirements.
4. Familiar with ISO 9001, FSC, CARB, Prop 65, CPSIA, and TSCA.
5. Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
6. Fluent in English (oral and written).
