On behalf of our client, we are looking for a QA Manual Tester to join a banking project, focusing on testing banking applications, products, and business processes.
Job Description
- Analyze business requirements and banking product specifications to prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Execute manual testing, including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing, to ensure banking applications function as expected.
- Test banking product features and workflows, validate business rules, and verify data accuracy based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects while coordinating with Developers, Business Analysts, and other project stakeholders.
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools and maintain test documentation and execution reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in QA or Manual Testing, preferably handling banking applications or banking product projects.
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, test case design, functional testing, regression testing, SDLC, STLC, and defect management.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, Postman, TestRail, or similar platforms.
- Experience in test automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon Studio, or other automation tools is a plus.
