Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer at infinID, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our software solutions. You will collaborate with our development team to design and implement testing strategies, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement in our software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test plans to ensure software quality.
- Work closely with the development team to identify, report, and track software defects.
- Participate in the design and development phases to ensure quality standards are incorporated from the outset.
- Collaborate with product management to understand user needs and to ensure that products fulfill those needs.
- Monitor and evaluate testing results against predefined criteria, report results, and make recommendations for software improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends in quality assurance and financial technologies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and the evaluation of QA tools and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role in the software development industry.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Katalon is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and regression testing is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
