Core Responsibilities
- The QA Engineer / Software Tester will be responsible for ensuring product quality and reliability through a combination of manual and automated testing, as well as supporting documentation efforts.
- Key activities include:
- Performing Manual Testing across web and mobile platforms
- Creating and maintaining Automated Test Scripts using Katalon Studio
- Preparing Manual Books, User Guides, and Instruction Documents
- Producing clear Technical Writings for both internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborating with developers, product teams, and business analysts to ensure feature completeness and quality
- Reporting, tracking, and verifying defects using issue-tracking tools
Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in QA or Software Testing
- Proven experience in manual testing: test case creation, execution, regression testing, and UAT support
- Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio or similar automated testing tools
- Strong skills in writing documentation, including manuals, SOPs, and technical guides
- Good understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, ClickUp)
- Ability to create clear, structured, and detailed test cases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in teams
- Basic understanding of APIs and ability to perform simple API testing (e.g., using Postman) is a plus
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
