QA Engineer Qualifications :
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is a common minimum requirement.
- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language is essential for test automation, such as Python, Java, or C++
- A strong understanding of various testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Capybara, Appium, and other tools
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud, and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) systems like Jenkins, Travis, or GitLab.
- Understanding and experience in testing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
- Proficiency with Git and its command-line interface is crucial.
- The ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions.
- A keen eye for detail is necessary to spot even minor software glitches.
- Clear and effective communication skills are vital for collaboration and sharing findings with the team.
- The ability to be a good team player and collaborate effectively in an agile environment.
- A desire to learn and explore new technologies to improve existing solutions.
