Job Overview:
The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Candidates that have working experience in QA Engineer on odoo ERP will be prioritized
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality standards.
- Perform root cause analysis on identified defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Ensure that testing activities comply with established standards and best practices.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Provide clear and concise test reports and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Katalon, etc.
- Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
