What You’ll Do
- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory, and UAT) on web and/or mobile applications
- Write, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios based on requirements and user stories
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
- Work with developers, product managers, and designers to verify fixes and ensure release quality
- Contribute to improving testing processes and test coverage
- Join sprint activities such as planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
What We’re Looking For
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or a related field
- Understanding of the software testing life cycle (STLC) and basic SDLC/Agile concepts
- Hands-on experience with manual testing, including writing test cases and bug reports
- Basic knowledge of test automation, with experience in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or Java)
- Familiarity with testing tools (see below)
- Good communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and a problem-solving mindset
- Able to commit to [X] days/week for [X] months
Tools & Technologies (experience with any of these is a plus)
- Test automation (UI): Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
- API testing: Postman, REST Assured
- Bug and test management: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr
- Version control and CI/CD: Git, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins
- Performance testing: JMeter, k6
- Other: SQL basics, browser DevTools
