Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in Automation Testing.
Have experience in Shipping Industry.
Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Technical Skills
Strong experience with Playwright automation framework (JavaScript or TypeScript).
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience in automating:
Web UI Testing
Cross-browser testing (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)
Regression testing
Smoke and Sanity testing
Experience with API testing using Postman, Playwright API, or REST Assured.
Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
Familiarity with SQL for database validation.
Experience using Git for source code version control.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI).
Knowledge of test reporting tools such as Allure Report or Playwright HTML Report.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Playwright.
Create and execute automated test cases for new features and regression testing.
Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements and ensure quality.
Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira or similar tools.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports.
Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
