About the Role
Our client, an Insurance Company, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer with experience in Playwright and/or Cypress to ensure the quality and reliability of their applications.
Responsibilities
- Review and understand system requirements and specifications.
- Create and maintain automated test cases using Playwright and Cypress.
- Execute automated tests and analyze the results.
- Perform functional, regression, and post-implementation testing.
- Identify, document, and report bugs to the development team.
- Re-test issues after they are fixed.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other teams.
- Ensure applications meet business and system requirements.
- Maintain test documentation and reports.
- Follow company procedures and QA standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a QA / Software Tester.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress.
- Good understanding of software testing and SDLC.
- Experience creating test cases and reporting bugs.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Insurance/Banking/Financial Services experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, API Testing, Git, or CI/CD is a plus.
