Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred majors:
Mathematics / Physics (Optional)
Computer Engineering
Informatics Engineering
Information Systems
Information Technology
Computer Science
Computer Systems
Minimum GPA of 2.75 (4.00 scale).
2.2 Technical Skills
Candidates shall have:
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies. (Current methodology: Waterfall.)
Understanding of Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Technical Specification Documents (TSD).
Testing Tools & Techniques
Experience using Test Management Tools (currently qTest).
Experience using Performance Testing Tools (e.g., JMeter) (Optional).
Experience with Automation Testing (e.g., Katalon) (Optional).
Understanding of API Testing and Database Testing.
Ability to operate AS400.
Ability to understand accounting guidelines and journal entries.
2.3 Domain Knowledge
Understanding of banking business processes, particularly Digital Banking products.
Experience testing OPICS, MUREX, GUAVA, Treasury Management Systems, or equivalent platforms.
Candidates should understand:
The basic concepts of OPICS, Treasury Management Systems, MUREX, Guava, or similar systems.
End-to-end business processes.
2.4 Soft Skills
Candidates shall possess:
Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
Excellent problem identification and problem-solving abilities.
Good teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
Understanding of risk-based testing and testing risk mitigation strategies.
3. Job Description
Quality Assurance personnel shall:
Prepare Test Plans, Test Requirements, Test Designs, Defect Reports, and Test Execution documentation (Functional and Non-Functional) using the Test Management application.
Each Test Case shall contain at least two (2) Test Steps and include Pre-Conditions.
Perform SIT and UAT testing.
Automation & Performance Testers shall perform:
Regression Testing
Compatibility Testing
Performance Testing
Deployment & Rollback Testing
Perform testing related to application enhancements, bug fixes, production issue resolution, and operational improvements using manual and/or automated testing.
Prepare defect and bug reports and coordinate with the Defect Manager.
Verify corrective actions for applications under test.
Produce detailed testing documentation.
Ensure all project requirements have been delivered within project scope, supported by test scripts and test result documentation.
Conduct Smoke Testing before execution.
Conduct End-to-End Dynamic Testing.
Develop Automation Test scripts (Optional).
Develop Performance Test scripts (Optional).
Provide support and knowledge transfer in the event of contract termination (if applicable).
Submit Daily Reports to the QA Lead.
Deliver Weekly Knowledge Sharing presentations to the team.
