We tailor our products to meet customer needs across a wide range of industries and are committed to continuous improvement, quality, and reliable supply chains.
As part of our growing business and international operations, we are looking for qualified professionals to join our team as Purchasing Staff (Local, Import & Export).
Job Responsibilities
- Handle local purchasing, import, and export-related procurement activities for raw materials, spare parts, and operational needs
- Research and identify potential suppliers, both local and international
- Compare and evaluate supplier offers in terms of price, quality, reliability, and availability of goods and services
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best commercial terms
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) in accordance with company procedures
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of goods
- Coordinate import and export documentation, shipment schedules, and customs clearance processes
- Check shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, and other related documents
- Coordinate with warehouse, production, logistics, and finance teams regarding material requirements and inventory levels
- Maintain supplier database and purchasing documentation
- Evaluate supplier performance periodically
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1); all majors are welcome
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement (local, import, and export)
- Strong ability in supplier research and offer evaluation
- Understanding of export–import processes, shipping document checking, and container clearance is an advantage
- Familiar with e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Tokopedia, Alibaba, and Amazon
- Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Proficient in computer operation, Outlook, and Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Knowledge of MYOB and Accurate accounting systems is an advantage
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
