Responsibilities
- Source and purchase goods, materials, and services required for villa operations.
- Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Build and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of requested items.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to avoid stock shortages.
- Ensure all purchased items meet company standards and operational requirements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Verify delivered goods against purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, invoices, and supplier documentation.
- Coordinate with the Finance department regarding payments and budget control.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and better purchasing opportunities.
- Monitor and control purchasing expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Assist with procurement for new villa openings, renovations, and special projects.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and purchasing procedures.
- Prepare regular purchasing reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or a similar role, preferably in hospitality or villa management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of purchasing procedures and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with inventory and purchasing systems is an advantage.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Honest, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
