Purchasing Supervisor

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Purchasing Supervisor to lead our procurement activities and support the growth of our multi-outlet operations in Bali. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials/ingredients, packaging, operational supplies, and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships and inventory efficiency.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, understands the Bali supplier landscape, and is capable of balancing cost control, quality standards, and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree in any field, preferably Supply Chain, Business, Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
- Experience in the F&B, restaurant, QSR, hospitality, or retail industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Bali's supplier network and local business environment.
- Proven experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, cost control, and inventory planning.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and purchasing/inventory systems.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and multi-outlet operational environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for food ingredients, packaging, cleaning chemicals, equipment, and operational supplies.
- Ensure all outlet purchasing requirements are fulfilled accurately and delivered according to operational timelines.
- Prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to improve pricing competitiveness, product quality, and supply reliability.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews covering quality, pricing, delivery, responsiveness, and service standards.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, rebates, and strategic agreements to maximize company value.
- Compare quotations and perform cost analyses to support effective purchasing decisions.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and support COGS improvement through strategic sourcing and supplier management.
- Monitor market price fluctuations and provide recommendations to optimize purchasing costs.
- Collaborate with Operational Team, Project Manager, and Finance teams to ensure inventory availability while minimizing overstock and stock-out risks.
- Supervise and develop Purchasing and Outlet team members, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures and company standards.
- Prepare purchasing reports, supplier evaluations, and procurement performance analyses for management.
