PT EGA WAYANG GARMINDO is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Staff with strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of garment raw materials to join our Purchasing Department. 🚀 JOB SUMMARY
As a Purchasing Staff, you will be responsible for supporting the continuity of garment raw material supply and operational procurement activities. Under the coordination of the Purchasing Manager, you will ensure materials are purchased efficiently and delivered on time to support smooth production processes.
✨ WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Source and evaluate fabric and garment accessory suppliers with competitive pricing and reliable quality
• Negotiate pricing, order quantities, and delivery schedules with vendors and suppliers
• Monitor incoming deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time before production schedules begin
• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain organized vendor databases within the ERP system
• Coordinate with Quality Control and Warehouse teams to verify incoming material quality and quantity
🔍 KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in any major (Business or Management is preferred)
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Purchasing within the garment, textile, or apparel industry
• Strong understanding of garment fabrics, materials, and accessories
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using ERP systems
• Strong negotiation skills, honest, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines
