Qualifications and Experience :
- Minimum 3 years proven work experience in a procurement role in the manufacturing sector
- A logical and systematic approach to work;
- The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions;
- Bachelor degree in business or supply chain
General Responsibilities :
- Work alongside PLP Indonesia customer service team to enhance the standard of service provided to PLP Australia.
- Act to procure for PLP Australia the needed quality in supplies, services and equipment.
- Prepare purchasing documentation comprising of (where needed) purchase order drawings and other information to enable PLP Indonesia to proceed efficiently with manufacture as per PLP Australia requirements.
- Help PLP Indonesia understand needs to expedite purchases if required by PLP Australia.
- Work with PLP Indonesia to agree performance targets for PLP Australia related business.
- Work with PLP Indonesia to develop new products and local suppliers for Australian market.
- Help PLP Indonesia to optimise planning of raw material purchases and stocking requirements by communicating PLP Australia procurement forecasts.
- Other, reasonable responsibilities as assigned by Primary Manager
- Demonstrates support and embraces PLP ‘On track’ values
- Support Australia tender and timely implement vendor evaluation program in conjunction with PLP Team
- Work with other PLP subsidiaries and engineering team in order to find best solution for PLP Australia
- Support PLP Indonesia across APAC region to find technical supply solution for PLPA
- Support PLPA supply plan to bring the parts / sub parts / finished goods from APAC region.
