We’re looking for a Purchasing Staff yang bisa memastikan setiap bahan yang masuk itu fresh, sesuai standar, dan dengan harga terbaik.
Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor’s degree (preferably in Culinary Arts, Management, or Accounting).
At least 1–2 years of experience in a purchasing role within the F&B industry (restaurants, hotels, or catering).
Understanding of differences in food quality
Strong negotiation skills to secure the best prices.
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
Highly meticulous in checking numbers, scale weights, and expiration dates.
Job Description:
Source, select, and maintain relationships with suppliers (produce, meat, dry goods, etc.) to secure the best prices and quality.
Manage daily orders based on the Market List provided by the Kitchen/Chef team.
Conduct physical inspections upon delivery to ensure compliance with specification standards (freshness, size, weight, and cleanliness).
Conducting periodic market price surveys to ensure supplier prices remain competitive.
Monitoring stock levels in the warehouse and chillers to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Analyzing and reporting food costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Managing Purchase Orders (POs), invoices, and coordinating with the Finance team to ensure timely payment processing.
