Deskripsi pekerjaan Purchasing Import Supervisor PT. HUA YII INDONESIA
- Source and develop overseas suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality products, and reliable delivery.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times, Incoterms, and commercial agreements with international suppliers.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from Purchase Order (PO) issuance until goods are received at the warehouse.
- Coordinate with PPIC, Warehouse, Sales, Logistics, and Finance to ensure material availability and smooth operations.
- Monitor shipment schedules and follow up with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure purchased goods meet quality specifications, quantity requirements, and company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Analyze purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiation and sourcing strategies.
- Prepare purchasing reports, supplier performance evaluations, and procurement KPIs.
- Handle supplier issues related to quality, delivery delays, and commercial matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement Import, with at least 2 years in a Supervisor role.
- Proven experience sourcing and managing overseas suppliers (China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand, etc.).
- Strong negotiation skills with international suppliers.
- Good understanding of import procedures, Incoterms, customs clearance, and international logistics.
- Excellent planning and inventory management skills.
- Strong cost management and cost reduction mindset.
- Able to communicate fluently in English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
