Purchasing & Inventory Control

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Purchasing & Inventory Control to join our team at PT Urban Sintesa Internasional.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing process, managing supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring the right products are available at the right time. You will also support product and market evaluation to help us source competitive products that fit the Indonesian retail market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines to achieve the best value for the company.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO), invoices, and other purchasing documentation accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate product replenishment to minimize stockouts and overstock.
- Analyze stock movement and purchasing data to support inventory and purchasing decisions.
- Conduct basic market research and product comparisons to evaluate product potential and market fit.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding product samples, quality checks, purchasing plans, and supplier performance.
- Ensure purchased products meet the company’s quality requirements and specifications.
- Monitor supplier lead times and follow up on order and delivery progress.
- Analyze purchasing costs and identify opportunities for more efficient sourcing.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Communication, or any related field. Open to all majors.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.
- Logical, analytical, and comfortable making data-driven recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Responsible, disciplined, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Experience or internship exposure in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory management or retail distribution is an advantage.
