Public Relations (PR) Officer

Role Summary
Manage CaritaHub's public image, reputation, and communications across the community, media, nursing home partners, families of elderly residents, and other stakeholders. The PR Officer builds public trust in the brand as a credible provider of elder care technology.
Key Responsibilities (Job Description)
Communications & Media
Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and media kits related to products, partnerships, and company activities.
Build and maintain relationships with media (print, online, TV) and act as the main point of contact for interview and coverage requests.
Prepare talking points and briefings for management (Director, GM) for public or media appearances.
Content & Brand
Manage brand narrative across social media, website, and official communication channels in line with brand guidelines.
Coordinate with the creative team on educational content around elder care, health, and products (e.g., Senior Mentor).
Prepare communication materials for internal and external events (launches, seminars, CSR).
Stakeholder & Community Relations
Build strong relationships with nursing home partners, elderly communities, health associations, and relevant institutions.
Manage community engagement programs and social (CSR) activities.
Coordinate company participation in exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
Reputation & Crisis Management
Monitor news coverage and public sentiment toward the company (media monitoring).
Develop and execute crisis communication protocols together with management.
Handle public complaints and issues promptly, empathetically, and professionally.
Reporting
Prepare regular PR activity reports (coverage, reach, engagement) with recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Communications, Public Relations, Public Affairs, Journalism, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or media relations (strong fresh graduates with a solid portfolio will be considered).
Excellent writing skills (press releases, articles, copywriting) in both Indonesian and English.
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication; confident in engaging with media and stakeholders.
Proficient in social media and digital communication tools.
Preferred
Experience in the healthcare, eldercare, or tech startup industry.
A good media network (especially in the Tulungagung / East Java region).
Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social listening).
Basic design/editing skills (Canva, short-form video) is a plus.
